What Are Eco-Agents?
Eco-Agents are passionate, youth-led change-makers trained and empowered by Sanitation Networks, Ghana (SaNeG) to drive environmental transformation at the grassroots level. These young leaders are at the forefront of advocacy, community clean-up campaigns, climate education, and behavioral change mobilization.
By 2035, SaNeG aims to establish Eco-Agents Sanitation and Environmental Clubs in every district and region of Ghana, creating a national force of empowered youth driving local and national action.
Through comprehensive training and capacity-building programs, these youth ambassadors will be equipped to:
- Lead an actionable advocacy efforts and raise awareness about the importance of sanitation, environmental protection, and sustainability.
- Mobilize community members to take action and promote behavioral change.
- Foster a culture of responsibility, inclusivity, and collective ownership in maintaining clean, safe, and pollution-free environments
